Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the results of the study of the process of formation of new competencies and skills relevant in the digital economy among students of the Udmurt State University (UdSU). As part of the study, a survey was conducted of students in non-economic areas of bachelor's degree following the results of their study of the course "Introduction to the digital economy". During the survey, students were asked to assess the need for university students to study the digitalization of the economy in modern conditions, the saturation of the discipline being studied with new information for them about the development of the digital economy and society, the relevance of the information received, the effectiveness of classroom work, as well as the importance of expanding their knowledge of the digital economy on completion of this training course. Students had the opportunity to accompany their answers with comments, recommendations and wishes. The results of the questionnaire made it possible to draw conclusions about the need for students to acquire knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of the digital economy, about a positive assessment of the content and quality of teaching of the training course "Introduction to the digital economy" at UdSU, about the expediency of continuing this work at the university and the high significance the formation of students' universal competencies.
