Abstract

The article discusses the concept of ideal trace formation from the point of view of expert thinking. An example is given of understanding the essence of the origin of the final state of the object, which the subject of activity faces when solving and investigating crimes by replacing the results of the initial reflection of the object with signs of a forensic nature. The features of trace construction during polygraph inspections are considered, taking into account the differentiation of reflexive and reflex traces in relation to the investigation and disclosure of criminal activity, as well as the interaction of a polygraph examiner and an investigator.
