Abstract

The study of changes in the structure of GDP is an important component of economic analysis, providing valuable information about long-term trends and prospects for growth and development. By monitoring these changes, politicians, businesses and investors can make rational decisions that will ensure sustainable economic growth and development. Analyzing changes in the structure of GDP, it is possible to determine which sectors stimulate economic growth. By understanding which industries are growing and which are falling, economists can help businesses and investors identify new markets and investment opportunities. To describe the trends and dynamics of the main indicators that characterize structural shifts in the RF GDP, this article uses the methods of descriptive statistics. The use of tabular and graphical methods of data visualization made it possible to increase the visibility of the presented research results. The article discusses the dynamics of the main indicators characterizing structural shifts in the economy: "mass of structural shift", "structural elasticity of output", "phase of the structural cycle". The study made it possible to determine the phase in the structural cycle of the Russian economy and to identify the ongoing sectoral transformation of the Russian economy. The results obtained can be used to create a strategy for the development of the Russian economy.
