SPECIFICS OF BUILDING A MECHANISM FOR MANAGING THE INNOVATION POTENTIAL OF REGIONAL SOCIO-ECONOMIC SYSTEMS

Abstract

The modern economic paradigm reveals innovative areas of cooperation of various subjects in the regional space, the peculiarities of the functioning of public-private partnership, joint responsibility at the local and regional levels. These processes are accompanied by new ways of coordination and regulation of economic entities, which is a new philosophy of management and coexistence of the public and private sectors. The article is devoted to the study of the functioning of the innovation potential management mechanism. The analysis of cause-and-effect relationships, methods of systematization and ranking, traditional methods of economic research were used as methods of scientific research. A mechanism for managing innovation potential in regional socio-economic systems has been developed. The presented mechanism allows us to provide a new perspective on the change of paradigms of regional innovation policy, to improve strategic tools that create managerial system solutions at the regional level. As a result of creating and defining the specifics of management of the innovative potential of regional socio-economic systems, the functioning of the mechanism is determined based on the principles of uniqueness and specialization of each element, taking into account scientific, technical, innovative and production potential, as well as priority development needs for the region. Based on the analysis carried out, it was revealed that the study of the specifics of the construction of the mechanism of innovation potential allows us to explore the features of the formation and development of regional socio-economic systems in a single territorial space. Stimulating the processes of creation, implementation, dissemination of innovative developments, knowledge, technologies, competencies, forms and methods of logistics and management activities is a source of regional development and contributes to the achievement of development targets not only for the region, but also for the country as a whole.
