Abstract

The paper is devoted to one of the leading Komi literary critics, Dr. Sci. (Philology), laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Komi in the field of science Vladimir Nikolaevich Demin. The stages of the scientist's scientific path are considered, his contribution to academic literary studies and the organization of science, his educational activities are shown.
