Abstract

The purpose of the article is to summarize the experience of the digital transformation of education taking place in Russia. Considerable attention is paid to the digital transformation of physical education and the sphere of physical culture and sports. Questions are raised that emerge in the system of training physical education personnel in the face of global challenges. Based on the analysis of scientific and methodological literature and the experience of the author's scientific school on the digital transformation of physical education and the sphere of physical culture and sports, the main directions of digital transformation are shown, which include: the system of training and retraining of specialists in physical culture and sports (bachelor's, master's, postgraduate studies) , as well as various options for advanced training; system of training athletes in various sports; organization and holding of sports competitions; organization of fitness clubs and health centers; organization of research and methodological work using digital information technologies; methodology for using modern software and hardware to assess the functional systems of athletes and those involved in physical culture; monitoring the physical condition and health of those involved in physical culture and sports; implementation of psychodiagnostics of athletes using modern digital information technologies; organization of a single methodological space in universities, sports organizations, health centers based on the creation of an information environment. The possibilities and prospects for the use of end-to-end digital technologies, the features of the creation and use of digital educational resources in the educational process are considered. The material of the article will be useful to teachers, scientists and practitioners in the field of physical culture and sports, will have an impact on the further improvement of the system of training specialists in physical culture and sports in the context of digital transformation.
