ПОНЯТИЕ «ФАШИЗМ» В СПРАВОЧНО-ЭНЦИКЛОПЕДИЧЕСКОЙ ЛИТЕРАТУРЕ США И ВЕЛИКОБРИТАНИИ

Аннотация
Исследуется актуальная тема: попытка выработки дефиниции фашизма в зарубежной науке. Объектом исследования стали материалы о фашизме, представленные в справочных и энциклопедических изданиях Великобритании и США. Справочная литература имеет целый ряд особенностей: она отражает уровень развития науки данной эпохи, представляет наиболее устоявшиеся определения. Прослеживается эволюция концепции фашизма, анализируются основные теоретические подходы к решению проблемы. Установлено, что большинство современных историков признает необходимость выработки общего определения «фашизм». Выделено два основных направления в изучении фашизма. Первое направление - идеалистическо-националистическое, представители которого сосредоточили внимание на изучении фашистской идеологии, отказавшись от ее традиционной трактовки как эклектичной и противоречивой. Результатом их работы стало выделение характерных для всех фашистских движений черт, получивших названия «фашистское ядро» и «фашистская матрица». «Фашистский минимум» включает революционный паленгенетический ультранационализм, «фашистская матрица» имеет дополнительный компонент - поиск «третьего пути». Интерес представляет использование этих определений для снятия обвинений в фашизме с современных правых движений и политики президента США Д. Трампа, которого ряд авторов характеризуют как фашиста. Второе направление - функциональное, представители которого настаивают на изучении практической деятельности фашистских режимов, которая значительно расходилась с провозглашенными программными обещаниями фашистов до их прихода к власти. Основной методологической доктриной изучения фашистских режимов по-прежнему является доктрина тоталитаризма как в классическом варианте, сформированном в годы холодной войны, так и в обновленном, представленная в работах известного итальянского историка Э. Джентиле в виде «политической религии».
