TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF EXPRESSION MEANS IN CRIMINALISTICS

Abstract

The article considers the concept of «expression means in criminalistics», «the language of criminalistics»; provides definitions of these concepts. The author offers a classification of the means of expression in criminalistics: verbal, nonverbal, and mixed. The trends in the development of means of expression in criminalistics are analyzed. The origin and the development of the criminalistics term «criminalistic characteristics of a crime» and the formation on its basis of a new concept of «criminal activity criminalistic model» are investigated. The author points at new trends in the development of the means of expression in criminalistics, which are the use of computer technology and computer modeling.
