MOTIVES OF REVOLUTIONARY TERRORISM IN 1860-1880 IN RUSSIA
Abstract
On the basis of data contained in various historical sources, the motives of revolutionary terrorism in Russia in 1860-1880 are revealed. The author compares the revealed motives with the universal classifications presented in works of lawyer Yu. M. Antonyan, psychologists K. G. Gorbunov and D. V. Olshansky. He reveals the fallacy of extrapolation of features, reasons, purposes, motives of revolutionary terrorism in Russia in 1860-1880 on modern types and forms of terrorism, which is allowed by Yu. M. Antonyan, K. G. Gorbunov, D. V. Olshansky. The author proposes a different classification of the motives of revolutionary terrorism during the period under review.
