SOME REMARKS ON THE CONCEPT “ANGER” IN THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract

It seems necessary to study various aspects of the emotional linguistic world image as it helps to understand the universality and the specificity of the language. Verbalization of the concept “ ANGER ” in Russian reflects a range of cognitive and behavioral reactions that are both constantly changing in accordance with the conditions and which meet internal and external requirements. The analysis findings underlie the importance of the following positions: a motion start, intensity, suddenness, causing-overcoming-transformation of anger, speaking-keeping silence. As a rule, anger is accompanied by sharp, quick, and strong verbal and nonverbal actions. In addition, this study reveals vivid semantic links between anger and fire, anger and sickness, anger and the elements.
