CHRONOS-FOCUSED ANALYSIS OF LOVE COMMUNICATION. CONSTRUCTION OF A GENERALIZED MODEL

Abstract

Using the topoi theory as a representational analytical procedure, while studying discourse, is an important (but not the only) aspect of this theory. This article shows how exactly the frame method (script method, in our case) deals with the idea of topoi in communication. During the study, the author explicates some theoretical considerations about such combination. First, she defines retouch and recipe from the perspective of topoi theory; then she reveals the basis of a generalized model of love communication. In love communication, the main factor is chrono-active. Different manifestations of love communication can be distinguished: (a) without communicant’s initiative and (b) with it. An example of constructing a frame-script of love communication is given here; it seems to be more universal but yet general.
