Abstract

The proposed work focuses on the detection of features of artistic expression of zoomorphic imagery in the Udmurt women's poetry. The analysis showed that the image of personality based on zoomorphic metaphorization, in the creative practice of Udmurt poetesses is correlated with ancient archetypal ideas, primitive imagery and physiophilosophical worldview of the authors. By zoomorphic metaphorization of a lyric character, the idea of his or her psycho-physiological state is realized, as well as of external characteristic; features of his or her behavioral model are determined.
