ON SOME METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF THE SCIENCE OF RUSSIAN ANTIQUITY

Abstract

The article touches upon important methodological aspects of ancient Russian studies and evaluates some of the newest works that identify themselves as historiography. The memorial nature of the convolute that includes this article gives it partly the character of a scientific essay. But the analyzed "historiographic" text, in turn, regardless of the will of the author of the article, inclined him to "individual intonation".
