Abstract

The fate of the service class people individual representatives during the formation of a unified Russian state is of particular interest due to the role they played in shaping the Great Knyaz’s power social support. The article examines the main instants of one of the historical figures of mid - to late XV century biography, the boyar scion Ivan Dmitrievich Runo. The information about his life and work preserved in sources of various origins is analyzed.
