Abstract

No other area of social development is as closely connected with the future of humanity as the educational sphere. The system of national vocational and technical education is no exception. The topic of the creation and evolution of the replenishment system of the "young working shift" has recently been the subject of increasing attention of various representatives of scientific knowledge: sociologists, economists, historians of pedagogy and education. Monographs are being written in Russia, dissertations on this topic are being defended. Apparently, there are good reasons for such attention. What are they? A lot of problems not only in the educational sphere, but also in the history of our country can be mastered through the prism of studying the history of national vocational and technical education. In addition, there is an opportunity to update the existing system of training and education of future specialists. The main purpose of this article is to consider the organization and conduct of political classes in the framework of the labor reserves of the Soviet Union in the post-war time on the example of the course "Our Great Motherland". Political classes were one of the forms of political education and upbringing of future workers. The study was carried out taking into account the basic principles: historicism, objectivity, reliability. The positive role of political studies in the educational process is noted, at the same time, difficulties in teaching this direction are identified, taking into account the general situation in the country. Of course, many ideas and principles of organizing and conducting political classes in the context of state labor reserves system are very relevant today. The question of the history of vocational and technical education gives us an understanding of broader historical aspects, education, science and society as a whole.
