ЦЕРКОВЬ И НАЦИОНАЛЬНАЯ ИДЕНТИЧНОСТЬ: ТРАЕКТОРИИ ПЕРЕСЕЧЕНИЯ (НА ПРИМЕРЕ ИРЛАНДИИ)

Аннотация
В статье предпринята попытка выявить особенности взаимосвязи католической религии и церкви, как института, с процессом формирования и модернизации ирландской национальной идентичности. Исторические аспекты взаимодействия церкви и национального движения сопоставляются с современными данными о месте Римско-католической церкви в структуре национальной идентичности ирландцев, выявляется позиция церкви по отношению к вопросам морального характера, делается вывод о факторах и специфике процесса секуляризации в Ирландии второй половины XX - начала XXI вв. В статье используются законодательные источники, материалы прессы, тексты выступлений государственных и общественных деятелей.
