ADDITIONS TO THE FAUNA OF WEEWILS (COLEOPTERA: CURCULIONOIDEA) IN THE VYATKA-KAMA REGION

Abstract

Based on the data obtained by the authors in the last 10 years, provides information on the findings of 47 species from 4 families of weevils (Curculionoidea) in the forest zone of the East of the Russian Plain, which significantly expands the data on their distribution. Of these, 24 species are recorded for the first time for the fauna of the Kirov Province, 11 species - for the first time for the fauna of the Perm Krai, 3 species - for the first time for the fauna of Udmurtia. 5 species ( Ceutorhynchus varius Rey, 1895, Calosirus apicalis (Gyllenhal, 1827), Dorytomus tremulae (Fabricius, 1787), D. majalis (Paykull, 1792), Anthonomus pinivorax Silfverberg, 1977) were first recorded in the fauna of the Vyatka-Kama region, and Larinus obtusus Gyllenhal, 1836, Ceutorhynchus griseus Brisout de Barneville, 1869, C. sisymbrii (Dieckmann, 1966), Neophytobius quadrinodosus (Gyllenhal, 1813), Glocianus fennicus (Faust, 1895), Dorytomus hirtipennis Bedel, 1884 ), Curculio rubidus (Gyllenhal, 1836), Mecinus janthinus Germar, 1821, Tychius aureolus Kiesenwetter, 1851, and Hypera plantaginis (DeGeer, 1775)) were first found in the southern taiga subzone of the eastern Russian Plain. Ceutorhynchus hirtulus Germar, 1823 are excluded from the composition of the regional fauna of the Vyatka-Kama interfluve.
