Abstract

The article is dedicated to the anniversary of famous philologist, Professor Vasily Mikhailovich Vanyushev. It discusses the problem of interrelated research of Udmurt and Komi literatures and the development of Permic historical and literature concept. The paper also highlights how scientific ideas about the pre-revolutionary literary heritage of Permian peoples have developed.
