Abstract

Based on the analysis of V. M. Vanyushev’s poetry, the paper considers one of the most remarkable linguopoetic phenomena of the Udmurt artistic and poetic discourse - the infinitive. The author reveals the structural and grammatical, and figurative and motive features and defines the existential and psychological contexts of intratextual implementation of lyrical infinitive in the texts of different genre modality. Interpretation of V. M. Vanyushev’s poems shows that the Udmurt infinitive for all its relative structural simplicity is imperative of author's consciousness, language, code of mentality, artistic and grammatical projection of historical and cultural factors and social transformations.
