KOMI-PERMYAKS’ MAGIC PRACTICE IN THE SYSTEM OF MUTUAL ASSISTANCE

Abstract

The article is devoted to studying the problem of relationship between magic practice and system of traditional mutual assistance. The analysis reveals the forms of gratitude and payment for the magic services in the Komi-Permyaks’ tradition. The study is based on published data of the end of XIX - beginning of XX centuries and field materials of the beginning XXI century.
