WAYS OF USING VERSES OF THE QUR'AN AS PRECEDENT TEXTS IN NEWSPAPER DISCOURSE

Abstract

Precedent texts are a subject of research in linguocultural studies, linguistics, cultural studies and literary studies. The interest in the phenomenon of precedent is explained by the fact that its study provides a key to understanding the unified cultural space linking not only the bearers of the traditions of a particular national or social community, but also different national and social groups among themselves. The knowledge of precedent phenomena of any culture unites people, and in this sense, precedent phenomena can be considered as linguo-ethno-social markers. The article presents the precedent texts that are the most important in the Arab culture, known to all its speakers, identified in the course of the research using the method of peer review.
